Dr Shikha Banerjee is the owner and founder of Canyon Dental which opened for business in 2007. In June 2008 Dr. Banerjee was recognized and featured on the cover of Corona Business Monthly edition for successful women in business. Dr. Banerjee continues to work full time in her clinic at Canyon Dental. Owning her own practice is very important to Dr. Banerjee because she wants to provide the best care for her patients without any compromise. Being independently owned and operated she does not have to answer to a large corporate body about profitability, sales figures, cost containment and other issues that come with corporately managed dental offices.

Dr Banerjee is a California native. She graduated from Independence High School in Northern California after which she went to California State University of Fullerton for undergraduate studies. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in Biological Sciences. She then went to State University of New York in Buffalo School of Dental Medicine; which is one of the top ten dental schools in the United States. She graduated in 2001 with the degree of Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS).

Since her graduation she worked in New York as an associate with Aspen Dental. She relocated to California and continued working as an associate for two more years until she opened her own practice. She lives and works in Corona, California.
